On 3 oct 2011 I went to the breast clinic for my check up again. This time they were more concerned and they ve sent me for ultrasound +/- long needle biopsy and MRI of the breasts only.
Long needle biopsy is actually a long needle that they use to get a sample of the growth. Once they get a sample they will send it for analysis to determine if its a cancer or something else. This is kind of needle they might use:
